2007 "Golden Key" Trade Promotion

New Hatzolah Responder Equipment Bags
All Hatzolah Responders will soon be set up with new equipment bags. Many thanks must go to Hatzolah Responder Yumi Friedman for his huge effort in the design of these new bags.
Our Responders will have not one, but two bags! One will contain resuscitation equipment (airway, oxygen and suction equipment).
The other will contain all the general first aid items (bandages etc).

The Spotlight Hatzolah Centre
Hatzolah are proud to announce the official opening of our new state of the art training and administration facility "The Spotlight Hatzolah Centre".

We sincerelly thank the Community at large and all of our generous benefactors for their ongoing support and assistance in helping to make our dream a reality.
Our new home gives us greater scope for expension in the future, and vast improvement of our training facilities.
On Sunday 4 June 2006, a ceremonial evening was held in which Rabbi's of the community affixed Mezuzah's to all doorframes in the building. The Rabbi's were most encouraging to all members of Hatzolah, offering their blessings and best wishes for continued success.
On Wednesday 7 June 2006, the official opening of the Spotlight Hatzolah Centre was held with numerous dignitaries in attendance. We would like to acknowledge those who spoke during the course of the evening:

2005 Operational Summary
Cases Attended:
866 (2004 = 748)
Hatzolah spends approximately 35 hours a month attending cases, with three Responders attending most cases this equates to 105 hours a month, which equals about 1260 hours for the year.

Hatzolah provided Responders to standby and administer First Aid at 16 events.
Hatzolah Responders made 32 Presentations and Talks to various school, shule and community groups.

It is with profound sadness that the Board and Members of Hatzolah extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Braun and Esterman families on the passing of Esther (A"H). Esther was a true "eishes chayil" whose love and devotion for her husband Ross (A"H) (Hatzolah Responder Unit 15) knew no bounds.

On behalf of all of us at Chevra Hatzolah, we take this opportunity to wish you and your family a Ksiva V'chasima Tovah. May the coming year bring you all good health, happiness and prosperity.
Building Update
It's official! Hatzolah are now the proud owners of our very own property, located on Orrong Road in Caulfield North. Settlement took place in late September, and we are now in the process of customising the building's interior to suit our specific needs. Our intent is to create a facility which will enable us to have an on-site training centre and reference library for use by our volunteer Responders.
We look forward to being able to report to your regarding the completion of the project in the not too distant future, and Hatzolah's re-location to our new home.

Hatzolah has recently negotiated the purchase of our own premises - a spacious property of 11,500sq feet located on Orrong Road in the heart of Caulfield. This property will give us scope for development of a purpose-built Hatzolah Administration and Training Centre.
The purchase will be finalised before Rosh Hashanah, and some modifications will then take place.As the need for Hatzolah's services grows, Hatzolah aims to continue to provide the highest quality emergency medical care to Melbourne's Jewish Community. Our new facility will enable us to continue expanding Hatzolah's services to meet the ever increasing demand.
